You will find us at the Entrance of the Museums, ready to walk you straight through skipping any possible line! You will visit the Main Courtyard, the famous Galleries of the Tapestries and of the Geographical Maps, will discover the Raphael Rooms featuring the “School of Athens”, frescoed by the famous Prince of Painters when he was only 25!
Then you will indulge in the Temple of Art: the Sistine Chapel. Where the titanic Genius of Michelangelo has represented the most impressive cycle of fresco paintings of the whole western Civilization!
By using a “guides only” passageway in a few steps we will reach St. Peter’s Basilica. A place of Pilgrimage and Art like no others in the world where you can admire the delicate Pieta from Michelangelo, step by the Tombs of the recently canonized popes John Paul II and John XXIII. Then reach the Papal Altar, Heart of the Church yet absolute masterpiece of Baroque Art in Rome.
The tour will end outside of the Basilica, facing St Peter’s Square where your guide will point out the Loggia of the Benedictions (where the newly elected Popes salute the crowd) and more highlights.
